Recore Electric Supports the Gastonia Police Doughnut Dash 5K

November 19, 2024

At Recore Electric, we’re always looking for ways to stay involved with our community, support local causes, and foster team spirit. That’s why we were thrilled to sponsor and participate in the Gastonia Police Doughnut Dash 5K and Fun Run this year on November 2nd.

The Doughnut Dash, organized by the Gastonia Police Department, is more than just a race—it’s a chance to bring the community together and support our local law enforcement. This year, our team of four Recore employees proudly wore their Recore jerseys as they hit the trail around beautiful Rankin Lake. With a mix of excitement and determination, each of our runners crossed the finish line, representing our organization and showing Recore’s dedication to fitness, community support, and teamwork.

Why Events Like These Matter to Us

As a company, we believe that giving back to the community is just as important as the work we do every day. By sponsoring events like the Doughnut Dash, we’re able to show our support for local organizations and help strengthen connections within our community. Participating in events like this also gives our team a chance to bond outside of work, promote a healthy lifestyle, and enjoy some friendly competition—all while supporting a worthy cause.
