Julio Contreras, Assistant Project Manager, as our Power Performer.
Julio earned his B.S. in Construction Management from Appalachian State University, a foundation that has equipped him with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in his role. His journey into project management was driven by a passion for contributing to the success of projects both on-site and off-site. Julio is inspired by the positive impact these projects have on our customers, communities, and the world around us.
When asked what advice he’d give to someone starting out in project management, Julio emphasized the importance of embracing mistakes as opportunities for growth and learning. “This is where true understanding and development occur,” he shared. He also stressed the importance of not being afraid to ask questions when you don’t know something. It’s this mindset of curiosity and a willingness to learn that has helped him thrive in his career.
Julio values Recore Electric’s supportive and collaborative work environment. He appreciates the helpful and team-oriented culture, which fosters professional and personal growth. “Everyone is helpful and collaborative, fostering a strong team spirit. This positive culture benefits both the company’s success and my personal and professional growth,” he noted.
Julio’s dedication, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence make him a valuable part of the Recore team. We are proud to celebrate his achievements and look forward to seeing his continued success as an Assistant Project Manager.
